The Debt Cancellation Waiver (DCW) from Advantage Car & Credit is optional protection that can cancel the remaining eligible loan balance after a covered total loss.
How does DCW help after a covered total loss?
After the vehicle’s Actual Cash Value (ACV) and applicable deductible are applied, DCW can cancel the remaining eligible loan balance.
Is DCW the same as GAP protection?
DCW serves a similar purpose to GAP protection, but Advantage Car & Credit’s DCW may include additional benefits.
Can I get another vehicle after using DCW?
Yes. Subject to approval and program terms, you may qualify for another Advantage Car & Credit vehicle with no down payment.
What happens to my existing auto loan after DCW is applied?
The remaining eligible balance is canceled, and the satisfied auto loan is reported to TransUnion as paid off.
